Developed with Murano glassmakers including AAV Barbini, Stemma draws on historic techniques of mirror production — cutting, engraving, and silvering — that connect directly to Venetian mirrors of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. These processes resonate with objects in the museum’s collection, where reflective surfaces extend space and light, transforming interiors into layered visual environments.
